Use the identity the business actually uses
Review the name, category, contact details and operating information against the real organization. Google Business Profile has specific eligibility and representation guidelines; use those as the reference before making changes.
Assign an information owner
Someone should know when hours, locations or service details change and be responsible for updating the relevant listings. Keep a simple record of the changes rather than relying on memory.
Separate evidence from promotion
Use accurate descriptions and images you have permission to publish. Do not invent locations, reviews or relationships to fill out a profile. A complete profile should make the business easier to understand, not create a different identity for it.
